Woodholme Elementary, a 2012 National Blue Ribbon School, serves families in Pikesville, Randallstown, and Owings Mills. Our academic success reflects the involvement and support of parents, families, community organizations, and area businesses.
Our school is a place where teaching is effective and learning is exciting - where every day is a day of discovery. Like other BCPS elementary schools, Woodholme teaches students following a rigorous curriculum that addresses reading and language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, technology, library, health, physical education, art, and instrumental and vocal music.
Opened since 2005, Woodholme takes full advantage of the latest technology in a modern, comfortable, and academica lly-centered learning environment that reflects our emphasis on science and math instruction. Woodholme students enjoy math, science and technology-focused activities throughout the year. Every student participates in our science, technology, engineering and math fair. Woodholme is truly part of the community serving the needs of our boys and girls. When you walk into Woodholme, you feel a welcoming family atmosphere.
Woodholme is a family of students, parents, staff and community. Our family is committed to developing life-long learners in a safe, orderly, respectful and nurturing environment. We will use technology to achieve challenging expectations in an ever changing world.
The Woodholme Learning Community is committed to preparing our students for the future by integrating a variety of technological resources into all areas of instruction. Through technology, we will motivate our students, enrich our rigorous lessons, and continue to reinforce content to increase student achievement.
